Germaine de Capuccini designed, researched and created the first cosmetic biodegradable and compostable packaging. This Project started in 2011, the leadership was managed by Germaine de Capuccini, it lasted almost three years of research. They got a two years cicle of life and the also got being compostable in less than 6 months, they overtook two of the most difficult topics. Design, research and creation of the Biotube Cosmetic was a team work in a consortium, where each actor has a defined role. Shulman, the multinational company, drew up the raw material of renewable components. Petropast, company dedicated to produce cosmetic and pharmacist packaging, was in charge of becoming raw material into packaging. Germaine de Capuccini made tests of compatibility during all process and ratify the final packaging. AINA-AIMPLAS Alliance supported the Project technology.
