It is probably that you have never heart before what a MOOC is, but they exist, and they are with us. They are massive open online courses. Some people consider them as the way to study free in the first world. It is an original concept. They are online education platform base on liberty and freeness education. Internet makes this experience possible, and technology helps to achieve the goal. The experience was born in USA. All started in 2007 when David Wiley created a first course, in Utah University. This action was followed by other similar initiatives. Although the first official MOOC course by Siemens and Stephen Downes was in 2008 with a course called “Connectivism and Connective Knowledge”.
