Alimarket researches the 675 main operator of the sector, data shows that recovery is going to delay. In 2012, they suffered a decrease of 1,1%, it means a turnover of 14.500 M€. In 2013, we observe no changes.
Following the Industrial Price Index of the parallel markets of the packaging (plastic, wood, cork, impression, glass, metal) has the same trend.
Exportation market slows down the fall of business profits. ICEX data show more optimistic results: in 2012, that was a turnover of 2.450 M€ with a 3,7% growth. In 2013, data are better, we see a growth of 7%, although it is a low growth if we observe the percentage of 33% of France, 14,3 % of Portugal and the 5,6% of Morocco.
The sector maintains the high concentration, the main 50 operators in the market concentrates 57,1% of the sales.
