After hard work of process engineering, IVACE ( Competitive Valencia Business Institute) has recognized it. CTR gets the appreciation of his job with a grant by the Save and Efficiency Energetic Business Program. (Project that has been financed by FEDER funds within the Comunidad Valenciana Operative Program 2007-2013). The approach of the new plastic production line becomes a high efficiency power and reduces electric potency significantly in the plastic recycling process. The main goal for CTR Mediterraneo is to contribute to the improvement of the environment. For that reason, since the company was created, it integrates all services that allow to have an overall management for almost all types of wastes. CTR devotes part of its activity to recycle plastic, that comes from polluted package. They become row materials for the companies that generate the waste. Briefly Recycling process has the following steps: – Classification by color, toughness and type – Grind, with tension power, compression and cut – Washing… read more →
It´s about a European project with the leadership of the Tile Technology Institute and supported by ASCER and other local tile producers. They are trying to produce tiles generating zero waste. Lifeceram-residuos cero is the Life Project that is being financed by European Commission. The main objective is to get a tile production process that doesn ´t generate any waste in any stage of the manufacture. The project also try to develop new products that contain recycling row materials and with technical characteristics that allow to use the product in public places Beginning actions include a state of art research which analyzes: waste typology generated in tile sector, waste treatment that companies bring to remains, and how many recycled products incorporates and how many go to garbage dump. They also follow the environmental law and all requirements that are necessary to commit with products that contains a part of recycled materials. In this stage, they compare the technical characteristics of… read more →
Scientifics from Argentina and Malaysia discover bacteria in the floors of Antarctica that can reduce almost 100% the reaction of metal waste that are wrong for these ecosystems. This research is an advance for future jobs that allows to clean ecosystems that were damaged by humans. Dr Walter Mac Cormack, Director of Environmental Microbiology and Ecophisiology Department of Argentine Antactic Institute (IAA)says that the bacteria Pseudomona DRY1 gets the inhibition of 95% of the molibdato, polluting effect. This metal (molibdato) becomes from the human action, basically it comes from iron and steel industry , also from mining and other industrial processes Scientifics check up bacteria DRY1 can develop into extreme conditions, temperatures fluctuate from extremely cold (minus 22ºC) to hot (10 ºC). They get the isolate conditions in the scientific headquarter of Carlini, in the 25 de Mayo Island. The situation of the island was ideal because it allows to test extremely temperatures, and also living with floor in low… read more →
In 2014, the illegal management of Electronic and Electrical machine waste already has produced 178 people impeached. Bad praxis and stolen machines, are the causes. The infractors collect the Electric and Electronic waste, they fixed them and after that, they sold them in domestic and international markets. Instead of delivering to authorize management wasters, the drivers got the machines and sold individually or to second hand shops. In this way, the Electronic and Electric waste was no recycled in an appropriate way. The Spanish Environmental Authorities said that the environmental crime was that the infractors repaired the machines, and the reparation didn´t allow to get back the CFC, or HCFC gases. These bad practices causes bad injuries to the ozone layer. The infractor were impeached both against nature crime and wrongful appropriation. The Spanish Consumer Organization has condemned this irregularity. The consumers pay extra charges in order to assure the electric and electronic recycled, although recent researches have proved that… read more →
