77% of the container volume of domestic waste are packagings, as we can see in the report of the Waste Prevention and Responsible Consume Foundation. Return Association asked for Ecoembes and Ecovidrio, (representatives of packer and great distribution and management of the current container system), to implement a Beverage Packaging Return System. Recycling can get 98,5%, as it happens in Germany, without any extra costs for Administration and furthermore, with savings in Government. We are burying in garbage dump and burning in incinerators, worthy materials, as organic materials basic in our grounds, or packaging metal and plastic that can be reuse and recycle. It is an outrage not to reuse these resources, when we can finish them in the planet. Besides the implementation of the Return System for beverage packaging, users can choose the use of the re-usable packaging. The active of the project, also promote other type of measures as avoiding one-use products, promoting re-use, and select collecting.
